Attention must be paid to the following points when you place order through the purchase and sales of HK stock pages.
Filling
in transaction types:5 types of order: Auction Order (AO), Auction Limit Order (ALO), Enhanced Limit Order (ELO), Special Limit Order (SLO) and Conditional Order. About the definition of transaction types, please refer to definition of order types and use different types of order report at different time.
Stock
code:
After filling in stock number, the right of the HK stock transaction page
will show brief details of that stock. For
example, stock name and size of per board lot of stock etc.
After filling in the stock number, the upper limit of the purchase and
the largest sales volume will be shown (according to the approximation
of stock per lot).
After filling in the price, the maximum buying quantity will be shown.
The calculation of Max. buying quantity is as below:
1.If the application can acquire simple quote properly
Max. Buying Qty = Max. Order Size / input order price (round down to the
nearest multiple of lot size)
Remarks: Max. Buying Qty should be an integer.
e.g. Max. Order Size = $30,210,265.07, the input order price is $1, the
lot size is 200
So the Max. Buying Qty is round down to 30210200.
2.If the application cannot acquire simple quote properly,
Max. Buying Qty = Max. Order Size / input order price (will not round
down to the nearest multiple of lot size)
Remarks: Max. Buying Qty should be an integer.
Rules:
1. The price reporting of HK stock based on its price
2. The difference between buy order and sale is usually about 1 to 2 price
unit.
3. Price spread is the smallest movement unit of stock
4. The price spread depends on the stock transaction price
5. The transaction price of order cannot depart from the 20 price units
of the current price (Cannot be higher than 5 price unit when purchase,
lower than 20 price units; cannot be lower than 5 price unit when sale,
higher than 20 price units. The price unit of each stock will be decided
by the transaction price).
6. The transaction order must have ??lot?? as unit. The number of stock
represented by stock per lot depends on each stock.

* The spread table from HKEx shall be prevailed.
The movement of stock price is according to the multiplier of its spread. E.g. if the stock price of Chong Kong is $66.000, according to its price range, its changing unit will be the multiplier of 0.05.
The fill-in of the price of buy/sell must made reference to the price spread of stock. E.g.: the stock price is HK$66.000/share and the price range should be within HK$20.00 and HK$100.00; within this range, the spread should be 0.05.When you fill-in the purchase price, it must be a multiple of 0.05, for e.g.67.00, 66.05, 66.10, 66.15?KYou cannot fill in 66.123, 66.234 for they are not multiple of 0.05.Another example, for the stock which price is HK$0.01/each share, the price unit is 0.001, you can fill in the buy/sell for HK$0.011, HK$0.012 etc.
Buying/
Selling Qty: The transaction quantity must be the multiple of per board lot of the stock.
Upper
and down button:
The upper and down button of price and triggering price: the definition
of the upper and down button of price and triggering price is the same;
you should press the up button after entering data into the price/ triggering
price box, system will based on the entered data and regulation of price
to increase one price spread; whereas press the down button, system will
based on the entered data and regulation of price to decrease one price
unit until the price unit = 0.01. Press down button and the value won??t
decrease further.
Upper and down button of qty: you should press the up button after entering the quantity of stock, then the system will based on the entered data to increase a board lot; whereas press the down button, the system will based on the entries to decrease a board lot until the price unit = 0, the value no longer decrease when you press the down button.
Reminding
alarm:
When buying, system will decide whether account balance is sufficient.
If so, trading account does not have sufficient fund, please use electronic
fund transfer.When selling, the system will decide whether the quantity
is sufficient, if not, reminder: The order quantity of your instruction
exceeds the maximum. You should properly fill in the order information
and submit. Windows will pop up the order details such as stock name,
quantity, price, order type and trading amount.when you place order with
the amount more than 30 million,system will remind you that trading amount
is exceeds the limitation of the order.
