The MT4 Bullion Trading platform uses USD as the default settlement currency. All client profit and loss, interest and commission are settled in USD. If client funds in/out in HKD, Haitong International Bullion Limited will convert the fund to USD using the daily exchange rate. The exchange rate will be updated according to the market condition without prior notice.
No. Once you have deposited the funds to Haitong International Bullion Limited, you need to request (Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 6:00pm) to transfer the money to your MT4 account. You need to state clearly that the funds are for “MT4 Bullion trading account” in order use the funds in the same day.
No. You need to wait until the check is cleared. You also need to state clearly in the check that the funds are for “MT4 Bullion trading account” and request (Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 6:00pm) to transfer the money to your MT4 account before you can use it for trading.
The MT4 will calculate two sets of commission at position open. It will be reflected in the floating profit/loss together with the interest, and all of them will be deducted from the account balance when the position is closed. You should make sure there is enough money in your account before you place any order.
The “Floating Profit/Loss” should reflect (1) two sets of commission, (2) interest and (3) the unrealized profit and loss of the open positions. All of them will be deducted from “Account Balance” once the position is closed.
Interest in MT4 is calculated by trade day, which is different from other platforms using value day.
