Notification of Introduction of Weekly Stock Options
The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (“HKEX”) has announced the introduction of weekly expiries for selected single stock option classes and will take effect on 4 November 2024. Weekly Stock Options are plain vanilla options contracts that expire every week. The introduction of the Weekly Stock Options is intended to serve the trading and risk management needs of participants in response to short-term or specific events, such as the announcement of economic figures or company earnings announcements.

Notice of Severe Weather Trading Service Arrangements
To align with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) implementation of Severe Weather Trading with effect from 23 September 2024, Haitong International will maintain the following services on Severe Weather Trading (SWT) day:

1. Hong Kong securities (including Northbound Trading under China Connect) and derivatives markets trading, clearing and settlement services on a severe weather trading day will remain the same as on a regular trading and settlement day;
2. Electronic fund deposit, withdrawal, internal transfer and currency exchange services of client’s funds;
3. Deposit, withdrawal and internal transfer services of client’s securities (excluding physical stocks deposit or withdrawal);
4. The instruction of corporate action will be proceeded;
5. Maintain services after login to Haitong International's APP and online trading platform;
6. Haitong International's Customer Service Hotline and Client Advisor would remain at yourservice.

Regular Review
Haitong International commits to ensure compliance with applicable regulations at all time. As such, we regularly send out notification to applicable clients to update their account information and complete their regular review.

If client fails to confirm their account information before due date, part of the functions for the account(s) may be subject to suspension until further updates.
